Tom is the Director of Curwen Walker Lawyers and has broad experience in family law and has worked on significant complex matters in both the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia.

John commenced the practice of law in 1968 after completing his law degree at Melbourne University.

Commencing practice as a Solicitor in Ballarat over 50 years ago, John has extensive experience in:

  • Conveyancing (sale and purchase of vacant land, housing and commercial property)
  • Probate
  • Wills
  • Powers of Attorney.

He is a long-standing member of the Ballarat Lions Club and in the past has held executive positions in the Ballarat Yacht Club and the Ballarat Foundation.

John is an avid fisherman, was a keen yachtsman and enjoys gardening, outdoor life and travelling.

Cindy had a diverse career spanning several industries, in addition to a legal qualification from Deakin University, Cindy also holds a Bachelor of Arts and Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and brings a wealth of business and customer service experience to the firm.

Savannah has worked in the legal industry in Ballarat for over 4 years. After graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University, Savannah completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with the College of Law.
